 School Newsletter Friday 13 October

Welcome to this week's newsletter.

Firstly, I'd like to thank all the students who helped at our Open Evening last night. It's always a great night to see our students in action showing prospective parents what our school is like. I hope that the late start to today was some recompense for all their efforts.

Year 11 will have four school weeks after the half-term break before we start our Mock Exams.  So while we hope there will be some relaxation over the break, it will be an important revision opportunity as well. A few hours of revision each day will go a long way helping with preparation for the exams.

The change of the clocks this month is a sign that colder, darker evenings will be upon us. With this in a mind, a reminder that hoodies and sweatshirts don't count as school coats so if you need to provide a new coat for your child for next half-term, please avoid these items.

Don't forget to book your tickets for Comedy Night, it's always a good night out and enjoy a few laughs. Details on the website.

School will reopen at 8.45am on Monday 30 October, we will be back on a timetable week 1.

I hope you have a restful half-term break.
