those from previous years.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to complete the questionnaire during what is usually a very busy evening. Your feedback is important to us. The results across each year group and across the whole school were positive, most parents giving 'agree' or 'strongly agree' responses.

Parents' Evening Survey Results 2012-2013
Question 6 concerning homework was generally positive but as there was a 10% ‘disagree’ and 1% ‘strongly disagree’ response we undertook a larger homework survey during the Year 10 Parents’ Evening in June and also a Student Voice survey across all year groups. Based on the results of these surveys we have redesigned the Student Planner to include a diary to support students with planning and organisation; revised the Homework Policy which is in the front of the ‘Student Planner’; encouraged departments to develop more extended homework projects spread out over the school year; and have provided each department with specific feedback from students about homework which departments will be acting upon.
